Here is the latest picture of my three! They are at such an easy stage to photograph. Savannah actually begs me to take her picture – and I need to more. I am often just “camera-ed” out after client sessions. But, these pictures remind me that these three are why I strive to excel and improve in photography. They are the reason I do what I do.
Guess who can sit up by themselves? Here is Ellie, 3 months old!
Okay, those of you who are parents know this isn’t possible for a 3 month old…I confess, it’s a little bit of photoshop magic! :)
I had the pleasure of meeting 9 month old Jeremy and his family recently. This little man is a solid chunk of total cuteness! He was such a happy little guy with a beautiful smile that showed off his two little teeth. We had fun playing with balls and blocks, and even going outside to throw some leaves! Here are a few of my favorites…
Little Miss Lydia was a little doll – one of my sleepiest babies yet! I’ve photographed a lot of newborns, and hence I’ve watched many new mommies and daddies. It is always very interesting. Some are very protective, cautious, and nervous. Others are so comfortable they just seem like they were born to be parents. Little Lydia’s mom and dad definitely fit into the latter category. I was impressed at how calm and comfortable they were as they held and interacted with their 6 day old daughter!
Mom definitely deserves an award for her very difficult 30 hour labor, and did a great job with pictures despite discomfort and overheating. This is a beautiful new family; I was honored to capture these memories for them.
It has been a while since Courtney and I have done a wedding…and it will probably be a while before we do another one. We are both in “baby mode” right now…me having had my little girl 3 months ago, and Courtney due to have her little girl in about 2 months!
Chris and Betsy’s wedding fit right into our “in between” stage – and we were looking forward to doing one after so long! They couldn’t have had a more gorgeous day – it was just perfect. There were a lot things fit into this special day, and every part of it was a beautiful success! It was neat to be around the two of them; their love for each other is obvious. Here are a few pictures from their wedding…
This adorable little 5 month old has a special place in my heart! Her mother is a good childhood friend of mine. About 4 years ago she went over to Indonesia to help the people there deal with the catastrophic tsunami. Her short term trip turned into long term as she met a Christian Indonesian man and got married. The two of them run an incredible ministry for street boys in Indonesia. And this is Ulina, their adorable daughter who we are all getting to meet for the first time. She is such a little doll – almost able to sit up by herself. If she is anything like her parents she is going to love to laugh. As you can see in the pictures, her parents are filled with such joy – always laughing! They head back to Indonesia soon – so the next time we get to see little Ulina again, she is going to be running!
