More family time * Lititz Family Photographer

I had another fun evening playing in the park!  My session with the H family was at the lovely Lititz Springs Park.  It was such a beautiful evening and the kids were so good!  We had fun driving trucks on bridges, feeding the ducks, hiding in the reeds, and then the best part was walking...

Family Session * Lancaster Family Photographer

Family sessions are always so much fun and filled with so much energy!  I love to see the relationships between the parents and the kids as they interact and play.   This is a family I have known for a long time, but have never really had the opportunity to spend much time with as they...

Circle of Life

I was outside weeding yesterday, when Savannah (our 4 year old), comes running over to me.  “Mommy, Mommy – Kiwi (our cat) is getting a baby bunny!”  She points to a bush in our yard, and as I push the branches aside, I see a little baby bunny huddled inside.    Out of my two...

Such a tender heart. . . and such a sad situation. We love her dearly!

Nadia - May 18, 2010 - 3:22 pm

Oh, how sad…. poor girl.

Oh, that is so tough. I was heartbroken for her when I read this and saw her face. I went through a similar situation with my son when he was 4. He found a baby bird that fell from it’s nest, and we put it in a box. After 2 days we thought it would be ok but on the third day we woke up to find that he didn’t make it. My son was so upset and the tears came like a waterfall. Even though it broke my heart I tried to also look at it as a positive learning experience that all kids have to go through at some point, especially if they have pets.

[...] so very much.   You might remember a previous blog entry I posted about her and a little bunny (Circle of Life).   I think you really should go back and look at it again.  It is definitely a heart tugger!  [...]

I had a great time playing in the grass and climbing on rocks with this family.  It had been a while since I’d seen them and I just can’t believe how big the kids are getting!   One of my favorite things about doing family sessions is watching how the family members interact with each other. ...

family bonding * Lancaster PA Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing two families a few days ago – each with all boys.   I always take time before a session to brainstorm ideas for pictures, and think through the ages of the kids and what I can do to make their session fun and a reflection of who their family is.   ...

Randy and Jane Lauer - January 4, 2010 - 12:06 pm

All the pictures are great but I my vote is for #4

Dave, Cindy & Darius DalCin - January 3, 2010 - 10:02 pm

Although we are biased in our choice of #4 (Barrett Werner) through blood, this photograph is pure art and worthy of a place in any photography show in NYC.
