We had an absolutely stunning spot for our June Mini Sessions. A huge field of black-eyed-susans added so much color and classic beauty to these pictures. We only had a small group of sessions, but I had such a great time connecting with old friends and meeting new ones.

Daniel and his mommy are ‘starting fresh’ in their lives, and these picture capture such a love and bond between them.

It was so nice to see baby Zachary and his family for Zach’s 3 month pictures. He has changed so much from his infant session. They even brought their very well behaved pup for the pictures!

The next family is one I absolutely love to photograph. Mom doesn’t want super posed pictures – she wants to capture her kids’ personalities as they laugh, love, and have fun together. These kids are just so cute too – this next picture is one of my all time favorites. Just look at that expression!

And, last is little Brayton and his family. I met Brayton about a year ago when he was in the middle of a serious battle for his life. I’ve watched him grow and experience many setbacks along the way. But, I’m so happy that he has finally overcome his illness, and his body is now able to grow the way a 2 year old should. He is such a happy little boy who brings joy to everyone around him!

I still had several fall sessions I hadn’t blogged yet, and so here is one big post with lots of adorable kiddos!

The first is Miss Auburn. This little lady is growing up so fast! She has quite an adorable fascination with sticks. I was beginning to think I wouldn’t be able to get picture of her without one! :)

I really love family sessions where moms and dads can just play and I can capture the laughter and smiles.

Next is Mr. Jeremy, an adorable little guy who gives the phrase “active 2 year old” a whole new meaning! :)

And, last is sweet little Miss Mia. I did her session many months ago, but it was all TOP SECRET until Christmas. Mia’s very thoughtful Aunt gave this session as a Christmas gift to Mia’s mom and dad. I heard back that they were indeed very surprised and just loved the pictures of their sweet little girl. Sisters * Lancaster Child Photographer

I had such a fun time with these three sisters! They are all so beautiful, yet have such different personalities! Their mommy is an excellent violin teacher, and we did an old fashioned barter…a portrait session in exchange for violin lessons for my daughter. I love trading talent for talent!

The oldest sister, Miss S, is becoming a very good violinist like her mommy. Middle sister, Miss P, has more personality than I’ve ever seen in a 20 month old! She was having a ball showing off with her older sister’s violin! The baby, little miss K, is such a laid back, happy little girl; content to just sit and watch her older sisters.

I have so many sessions from the fall that I need to share! And, it’s actually quite funny how many of them are blond haired, blue-eyed one year olds. This is one of them, Miss Geneva – a little beauty who has such a sweet, yet serious personality. I was able to get a few smiles out of her, but mainly she just looked at me with big, serious eyes and then set off to discover the world around her.

What a fun evening I had with two of my favorite boys! We ran, climbed, rode in the wagon, tickled each other with tickle sticks, and pretty much tired ourselves out! Here are some of my favorites…Oh, and check out the last one – I love it! Poor tired little guys – we played hard!

Here’s Miss Auburn – another adorable one year old. I have a serious soft spot for one year olds right now! Ellie, my youngest child, is at this sweet stage of life. I’m really trying my best to hold on to every moment. They are so active and expressive – often only being still for a split second at a time. Everything is so new and interesting – they are extremely curious, intensely determined, and love to laugh at anything silly (including themselves!). One minute they are snuggling on your lap, and the next they are loudly insisting on having their own way. It is a bittersweet time as they are leaving the baby stage, and starting to discover their own independence and personality. *Sigh* it makes me want to go wake Ellie up from her nap and smother her with kisses!

I had a contest a few months ago when my baby girl turned one year old. It was for a free session for a one year old. Kenzie’s mommy won the contest! We took the pictures at her parents property (farm?) in Ephrata. And, what a beautiful place that was!

Little Miss K was such a serious little cutie! I was pulling out all my tricks to try and get her to crack a smile. We got a few really sweet ones, but mommy says she is just a very serious little girl. Here she is – little Miss Kenzie!

It was good to see Miss Katie and her little brother again for Katie’s 3 year old pictures! We had a great time playing on the swing set, chasing bubbles, dancing like a princess and riding on her hot pink 4 wheeler! I love being able to see my little clients grow up!
